I have a voice

I  just love smart women.  Smart women don’t complain, they don’t whine.  They laugh at their misfortune and move on.

I have a friend who is especially good at this.  Today I received an email from her describing her latest foray into computer servers.

I got my server back on Friday.  It started up and began a back-up then crashed at 44% – spit up its connections, chopped off two of its hard drive body parts, managed to find the most amazing set of warning messages in sunset colors (nuclear dawn) and generally misbehaved until I yanked it’s cord.

That, my friends, is how a smart woman handles crisis, with eloquence and humor.
