I have a voice

I lost a friend this week.  Not a close personal “my life is eternally altered” friend, but a friend nevertheless.  She was a fellow quilter, retired school teacher and an independent and forward thinking optimist; the kind of person you appreciate for just exactly who they are.  She was put to rest with needle, thread, thimble and an unfinished quilt block as Miss Vicky never had idle hands.  To truly appreciate her, you would have had to know her.  She will be missed by the whole county, as she was also Rosie the Clown at our local fair.

Miss Vicky, you are and will be sincerely missed.
