I have a voice

I live with a history buff.  My history buff and I follow politics.  We’re conservatives, if that makes any difference.  In town today we met our first apolitical person.  She believes that the correct leader is God and doesn’t vote.  Interesting.

Remember the short little homily about groups of people being rounded up.  “They came for the Christians, but I’m not a Christian, so I didn’t speak up.  Then they came for the (pick whichever group was next), but I wasn’t a (fill in the blank), so I didn’t speak up.  Then they came for the (group the speaker belonged to) and there was no one left to speak up.”  Remember that one?

Some religions would be self-exterminating in times of strife.  This would be one of those.
