Having a good brain
I hesitate making this post for fear that my friends will take this wrong . . . please don’t. I love you all dearly and being asked for an opinion is good! It makes me feel wanted and loved. Being asked for advice is a part of friendship and I’m okay with that.
What I’m having an issue with is people use my brain instead of their own. I don’t want to be the polymath everyone comes to so they don’t have to think or do anything for themselves. I don’t think that’s healthy. The process of doing research is important. It allows you to make informed decisions. New knowledge and acquiring it is stimulating for the brain. And I think more than one source for information is important! Please let me be the last source, not the first.
I’ve got to start advising people to Google instead of Nori.
